[I SAY] After the Interview

By Natalia C - 星期三, 4月 29, 2009

Sorry, sometimes just don't wanna write Chinese when I'm moody.

Just finished editing and uploading the recording, and gotta say the interview on Monday was NOT GOOD for sure.

I don't wanna give you any excuse, or complain anything. But I still need to clarify something.

I've been told that some responses from Sandee's fans on Plurk were NOT SATISFIED and felt quit ANGRY to us. Okay, I can take those critics, but there's nothing to do with Kinple. The duty belongs to Pleek and me.

Yeah, if someone wants to blame, just blame on us. Not kinple or Bruce.

Well, yes, I admit that we didn't do a good job. The beginning of the interview was a total disaster, and there were many problems of our hardware.

However, I've tried my best to fix those problems immediately when I was told. But at the moments, most of time we just had no idea about it because we only focused on the background music and the interview, I mean, the conversation. If you know the internet radio very well, you must know there is "buffering time" and most of DJs can't hear what the audience hear. What I'm trying to say is, we couldn't know what it would sound like when the sound stream was playing out online. That's why I have to be told if there is any problem. Then, some of you might say: "So what about 推文? You guys didn't read what
we typed at all!" Well, just like what I mentioned, we mostly focused on the conversation during the show. We have to respect our guests, don't we? Pleek needed to talk, and I needed the control the system. We were very sorry that we didn't check you guys' 推文. I mean it.

Alright, so I checked what you guys heard when I was editing the file. Okay, yes, it was pretty bad. I don't deny it. So, just like what I said, if you wanna fuck, don't fuck Kinple.

If you doubt why I don't type Chinese to clarify, well, sorry pal, this is my own place, and right now I have no mood to type Chinese. If there's necessary, of course I will key an official statement in Chinese and post it on any board you ask.

Finally, I just wanna say that we didn't do the interview in a kind of 隨便 attitude. If you question about it, that's fine, becuase we all knew we didn't do the job well. So I have no reason to argue. It's alright if you think our show was so so so so so so 隨便. We couldn't deny it was a mess. BUT, OUR ATTITUDE WAS NOT 隨便. WE TOOK IT VERY SERIOUS. Mmm... yeah, I know, attitude can be a kind of excuse, and you can say we might have a wrong attitude because we didn't work harder. Okay, I have no comments if you still think this way. It will be enough that I know what we think in fact. I don't wanna tell you what we've done so far for this interview. That will act like looking for sympathy. All I can say is, both of us do this for HOT BLOOD, just like the theme.

HOT BLOOD, not business.

==========WHAT BELOWS THIS LINE IS NOT IMPORTANT==========

Now I'm going to say something boring. Please don't keep reading if you're not my friends or you are just an audience or you don't wanna know something UNPLEASANT.

Some people thought we talked too much. Oh really? So I guess we should just be ASK MACHINES, not HOSTS. Okay, sorry, our fault. We didn't become "ALL YOU NEED TO DO IS ASKING" machine. I AM SO SO SORRY ABOUT IT.

Of course, I know the whole show was too long and made the guests so tired. I'd tried to cut the show and made the end around 12:00, but Pleek wanted to move on and he made some requests that I had to follow. I truly apologize for not controling the schedule well. It was also our fault that we didin't make it clear to guests and new audience. Most shows of PTTradio are quite long, AT LEAST 2 hours. I know we only requested our guests for two hours. However, accident always happens. The long interview made all people tired, we were very very very sorry for this.

In fact, I've done some interviews before, the most famous one was for 阿沁. It was a very good experience though, and he was surprised by my performance. I guess I haven't done this for such a long time (two years maybe?) so I failed this time.... Alright alright, I'm giving an excuse, sorry, my bad.

And it was also my bad that Pleek's voice was so low. I found the line of his mic was disconnected at 12:00. It must be dropped during the show and we didn't find it. (I was sure it was connected at the beginning.) I was in charge with most machines, so it was my fault that I didn't notice about it. What you heard of Pleek's voice was mostly taken by my mic.

Regarding the webcam, some people complained about the lag or the blur. Okay, there were two reasons why it lagged: first, there was buffer time, so video couldn't be simultaneous with radio. Second, we had to stop for a while when we were taking breaks during we played her songs, or you guys would hear we talked. So I paused broadcasting the video when we took breaks.

And the reason why sometimes it looked so blurry is, Pleek wanted to stop the camera when we were taking breaks at the beginning, so he pressed the button on camera and thought it would stop filming. But it kept filming and made the focal distance closer. So it looked quite big and blurry. Of course, it didn't happened again since I turned to pause the video.

In the case of other hardware problems, well, all I can say is I've tried my best. I moved my PC and speakers to the place becuase only my PC can be plugged with four mics. But we've never done it before. In addition, the place was not so good to be a suitable studio, so there were lots of noises taken by four mics in the room at the same time. Besides, this was our first time to be there and we knew nothing about their conditions. The electronic power there was not stable and made my PC reboot automatically so many times at the beginning. In fact, it was quite harmful to my PC. Guess what? I couldn't boot after the show when I got home. It took a day off to work then. That's why I finally edited the recording file this morning, with a awful headphone. Furthermore, my mobile storage is dead and I lost at least 100GB data. And what just happend this morning is, my speakers are dead now. I don't want to count how much I lost, it can freak me out. Well, I just know I may need to pay thousands after all of this. All I wanna say is: 我們一點也不想隨便! If you still wanna blame on me, go ahead. All I will answer is: I work in 熱血!

Most of people thought Kimmy was too talkative, but I thought she was quite cute. She was very frank and innocent, even I was shocked by her eyes when she stared at me sometime. I did like her very much. Yes, she might lose control easily, but me as a host, she had a great "effect". She made us laugh and laugh (even though sometimes we didn't understand what was going on), and also one of Sandee's companion laughed to tears. The only defect was she always spoke so closed to the mic and made the volume so lond. Well, we didn't control her well, our bad, sorry.

What's more, she is also part of the singers of the song, why couldn't we let her speak? Yeah, she might speak more than Sandee, and I didn't think she spoke "much more", okay? You see, most of questions we collected were to Sandee, but we were interviewing BOTH OT THEM. You can't deny Sandee answered most of questions. Well, I will just say Kimmy is a smart girl, she knows how to pop herself out. This is a very useful skill in showbiz, but also very dangerous if someone is jealous or mad.

Just like what Sasha told me, everything makes me feel what Ouch felt a few weeks ago. I don't beg everyone to buy it, but there is just something I need to say or I will die.

I've appreciated that Sandee, Kimmy, Bruce and Sasha offering us this chance to have the interview. And thanks to Pleek, who had much stress than I do, to finish the job with me. Even though the result was not that good, at least we might have done something.

If readers have other questions or other conplaint, just come to me.
