最近發現的一個對 tone 團。只聽了他們在 2007 年為了粉絲推出的聖誕節免費紀念限量 EP（實體 CD 僅五千份，後來 AbsolutePunk.net 網站與唱片公司合作提供合法下載），其中非常喜歡這首歌曲。主唱 Corey Warning 的 tone 真是深得我心啊～！

The Graduate 來自美國伊利諾州中部，於 2005 年十一月成軍。雖然團名取做「畢業生」，但是團員之中卻沒有人從大學畢業過，團名純粹是諷刺好玩。他們在 2006 年五月發行了一張獨立製作的 EP《Horror Show》之後，隨即展開全國性的巡演，更深受全美各地校園電台喜愛，因此登上 College Music Journal（簡稱 CMJ，駐於紐約的音樂週雜誌出版社，除出版刊物外也會舉辦音樂祭）雜誌封面，《Horror Show》的口碑也在大學生之間傳散開來。隔年的四月六日，知名音樂雜誌 Spin 也將 The Graduate 譽為當日最佳樂團。首張專輯《Anhedonia》在四月十日發行，而這次巡演更擴展到了德國大型搖滾音樂祭 Rock am Ring 上。在 2007 年末推出了《The Evergreen》EP 之後，The Graduate 就沒有再推出新作，除了去年十月他們和唱片公司 Icon MES 解約後，唱片公司在十一月推出的《Anhedonia Revisted》的豪華版專輯。
