今天下午，真的是狂風暴雨。不過，風吹得我房裡真涼，頭一次房間這麼通風。

一邊洗澡，一邊被窗外的雨水噴，不知怎麼我腦海裡就浮現 Ray Manzarek 跟如雨般的琴聲跟 Jim Morrison 迷幻的歌聲，就這樣在浴室裡哼起〈Riders on the Storm〉……

雖然歌本身跟柯羅莎颱風應該沒啥關聯，不過整首歌在雷雨聲中行進，加上 Ray 精采的編曲，以及 Jim 那種嗑藥後昏沉隨性的歌聲與如詩的詞，讓這首歌在 The Doors 後期仍舊成為經典之作。另外值得一提的是，這也是 Jim Morrison 灌錄的最後一張唱片，的最後一首歌曲。

不知道大家知不知道 1953 年的經典電影《The Hitch-hiker》，內容敘述 1952 年美國知名連續殺人狂 Billy Cook 偽裝成搭便車的人，後來把整車全家人都殺了的故事？而〈Riders on the Storm〉的靈感來源正是發自這個真實事件。在 1986 跟 2007 年，也有部叫《The Hitcher》的電影（2007 年的那部，中譯片名是《幽靈終結者》，是翻拍 1986 年版本的），也是在說 hitchhiker 殺人魔的故事。如果看過這些電影，大概更能體會歌曲中描述的情形吧，至少我會想像 Sean Bean 在大雨中向我豎著大拇指，哈哈。

1999 年的烏茲塔克音樂節，Creed 曾經翻唱這首〈Riders on the Strom〉，我還滿喜歡的，雖然不迷幻，但我覺得這種硬漢爆發力跟 Scott Stapp 的聲音別有一番味道，跟後來的新主唱 Ian Astbury（長得跟 Jim 很像，但還是少了 Jim 的性感，歌聲更是……）比起來，Creed 比較棒！

下面這個就是後來的 Doors，只有 Ray Manzarek 是舊成員。
