After I saw the film "I AM DAVID," I thought I'd seen the light of humanity.

At the beginning of the film, David didn't trust anyone. For him, the humanity was terrible and dark. Although he was a gentle boy, he still could not understand why people did those horrible things. Yes, he felt disappointed about the humanity. But in the end of the movie, as soon as he finished this long journey, we just realized that David must find the light of humanity.

Sometimes we might feel like David, "Trust no one," or humanity is no worth to trust, and everyone is selfish. Well, that's right; we can't deny there are some dark sides of humanity. But we also have to admit that most of people are good people. In the beginning of David's trip, he met a baker who was trying to betray him; but he was the only one person who might harm David of all people he met during his journey. See, Sophie was so nice to him. I guessed she must know David was not a usual kid, but she still gave him a hand, didn't she? What's more, Johannes, the only friend of David's in the concentration camp, sacrificed himself to save David; the soldier who we thought was a bad guy at first helped him to escape from the camp, too.

Think about it: if David just followed the soldier's words and trusted no one, could he go back to his mother by Sophie's and other's help? I don’t think so. You can't realize how this world is so warm if you shut your mind and keep away from others. I know it's quite painful if we get hurts when someone betrays us, but I think we will get a lesson because of this and grow up more. Just turn your mind, and you will feel better, even be so thankful because that person makes you stronger. The world may be cruel, but I believe the light of humanity can create a miracle. That's why people always say "DON’T GIVE UP!" Yes, don't give up to believe, or to trust.

It reminds me to think of a film called "Pay It Forward." If we try to help people with kindness, people will also be thankful and help others, just like us. So, when you or your friends feel disappointed about the humanity, don't forget to remind them this world is still wonderful. Be satisfied with current time and concern the society more, maybe you will light the light of humanity and make your world more beautiful!
